Why nuMom?

nuMOM nutrition vitamins and herb supplements are manufactured in the USA in an FDA registered, GMP facility.  A GMP manufacturer is one that has exceeded the standards set out by the FDA.  Our herbs were selected because we believe they are the most effective in helping women increase breast milk and they are listed on the FDA's list of generally regarded as safe herbs. 

The Institute of Medicine of the National Academy of Science has defined specific daily dietary reference intakes (DRI) for nursing mothers that differ from pregnant women. The medical field recognizes that there are different amounts of daily vitamins needed for breastfeeding mothers.  We designed our breastfeeding multivitamin to provide the vitamins and minerals a breastfeeding mother needs in one (1) capsule a day. 

At nuMOM, we know that you don't want to take a lot of capsules if you don't need to, and you don't want anything that tastes bad.   We have created our Milk Enhancer Herb Supplement to have a dosage that is high enough to be effective while condensing the formula so that you only need to take 6 per day (2 before each meal).  This is far less than other brands where you may take 9 or more a day.  It's in a capsule form so that you don't experience any bad taste and to ensure you get the correct and consistent dosage.  We only add in the ingredients you need to increase breast milk.
